Hello Whistlers around the World!!
Hi, I'm Michael Lydon, a whistler and singer-songwriter in New York. I've been whistling for many years, performing in and around New York, but until last fall I had never met or compared notes with any other serious whistlers.
Then I met Steve Herbst, took lessons from him, and he told me about the IWC and the competition in Louisburg.
This April I went to Louisburg, my wife Ellen Mandel accompanying me on piano, and we did well, had great fun, and met many interesting and unusual people.

Recently I've been making YouTube videos--I really enjoy working with film though I am still a a rank beginner. Here's my YouTube channel:
