WOW! That's awesome!! I have always had a crazy thought that it would be so cool to whistle the national anthem at a sporting event. Sorry I'm just now seeing this post so much later! Hey, so I have a couple questions for ya: 1. Did you whistle to…

Hello fellow whistlers! I'm happy to announce that i've been selected to whistle the Star Spangled Banner tonight at our Arkansas Naturals Baseball Stadium (Arvest Ballpark). Auditions were held for singers a few months ago, but I showed up to whist…

Profile Information

My Hometown:
Siloam Springs, AR
How do I relate to Whistling?
I would like to be a Pro Whislter, I whistle for fun
My Accolades / Awards:
John Brown University Talent Show Winner - whistling; International Whistling Festival (Puckerama) attendee and performer; I have whistled for a few churches in town; have recorded in DownPatcrick Cathedral, Northern Ireland; performed luncheon entertainments for the University; member of Orawhistle International online whistling forum.
A bit about my Whistling Style
I'm a "pucker" whistler. I tend towards more lugato in my sound, with added vibrato in places for effect. I enjoy a good flip and trill as i whistle most pieces. I currently have a reliable and mostly musical 3 1/2 octaves range. I can, at times, get beyond that but it's either too low to resonate musically, or too high and therefore shrill. I enjoy whistling anything from pop music to classical oboe concertos. Movie themes are also a favorite. As for intonation, i'm not perfect, but i'm a perfectionist. I work quite hard at keeping my whistle in tune, which many times means sitting with a recently tuned piano or organ and punching out notes, scales, and arpeggios.
My Website:

What am I looking for:
I'm looking for other whistlers of all ages, nationalities, etc. I'm certainly curious to find those closer to my age just because we seem to be few and far between.

Je Puis Tout - French children's song

Download Je puis tout.wma

I was honored to whistle for a new Children's worship album in France. They wanted a light and bouncy whistling style sounding much like a man whistling while walking down the street. i hope i got close to what they were looking for. The CD is now selling in France (title: Plus que Vainqueurs; translations: More than Victories). I'm pleased with the overall soun

Whistling Sample

This is a beautiful piece I recorded with my Cathedral Choir, again in N. Ireland. I only have a small whistling solo at the front end and then I join the choir for the remainder. However, I do hope you enjoy not only the solo, but the piece in its entirety. The lyrics speak of Mary singing a lullaby to her new born son, Jesus.

Whistling Sample

Download 08 Vocalise JBU Cathedral Choir Down Cathedral.wma

This one I'm always hesitant to share because the intonation was so difficult to maintain. As we recorded this piece in the DownPatrick Cathedral, N. Ireland, I couldn't actually hear or feel myself sliding sharp until i heard the recording back in the states as they paired it with a choral men's group. Unfortunately I couldn't rerecord anythi

Hey Stephen, Just saw your comment for the first time today,in fact this is the first time I've been to this site since I hooked into it. Nice tracs Amigo. I'm sorry to admit I had quite forgotten about the Whistlers net. All I can say is that my life is very full and I don't spend much time on the net except to check my site for CD orders now and then. Hope all goes well for you in life and that you receive all the very Best of Blessings. If I don't meet you in the future I'm certain I will meet you in the pasture. W. T.
